Black Sesame Baked Oatmeal & Pandan Baked Oatmeal

Firstly, apologies for the very very very late post of these 2 recipes. School just started and I'm already flooded with assignments and FYPs and what nots ): School's been really competitive and hais. I just feel like I'm not working hard enough ): Time for me to camp in the library and bury myself in books ):

But anyway, these 2 very simple baked oatmeal but yet taste amazingly good recipe will be down below (: Do try them out if you have the time and let me know (:

Black Sesame Baked Oatmeal


Ingredients:
Rolled oats, around 40g
Milk (enough to cover the oats, you could add water to fill it up)
Black sesame powder (I bought the commercial ready black sesame powder) (1 TBSP + Extra for sprinkling)

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180C
2. Combine rolled oats, milk (or milk+ water), black sesame powder in a bake safe bowl
3. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25minutes
4. Top with more black sesame and any berries to serve (:

Pandan Baked Oatmeal


Ingredients:
Rolled oats, around 40g
Milk (enough to cover the oats, you could add water to fill it up)
Pandan juice* (2TBSP)
Desiccated coconut (1 TBSP + extra for sprinkling)

Method:
1. Blend pandan leaves (Around 2) with 2 TBSP of water
2. Squeeze the mixture through a sieve to obtain the pandan juice
3. Preheat oven to 180C
4. Combine rolled oats, milk (or milk+ water), pandan juice and desiccated coconut in a bake safe bowl
5. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25minutes
6. Top with more desiccated coconut to serve (:

  1. Where did you buy the sesame powder may I know? :) I found one but it doesn't taste good and kind of too sweet ofr my liking.
